HighByte Named to Inc. Regionals’ 2026 List of the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Northeast

Portland-based industrial software provider named to the prestigious list for second consecutive year

PORTLAND, Maine, April 2, 2026 —HighByte®, an industrial software company, has been honored on the Inc. Regionals list of the fastest growing companies in the Northeast for the second consecutive year. HighByte ranked No. 23 on the prestigious list, growing 220% over the 2022-2024 qualification period, signifying its continued local economic impact and annual recurring revenue momentum.

The industrial AI market is on a steep growth path, with independent analyst firm Frost & Sullivan projecting a 40–45% CAGR over the next five years, reaching $153.9 billion by 2030. “AI success depends entirely on data quality. Without well-contextualized, high-quality data, models underperform or fail to scale beyond pilot. This is driving DataOps investment,” said Sebastián Trolli, Head of Research for Industrial Automation Software at Frost & Sullivan. “In 2026, we expect most manufacturers to understand AI and DataOps as two sides of the same coin.”

“As the northeast continues its investment in industrial manufacturing, leaders are refining their data infrastructure to unlock the full potential of AI solutions and smart manufacturing processes,” said Tony Paine, Co-Founder and CEO of HighByte. “By providing the data infrastructure and contextualization tools needed to power AI, our team has accelerated manufacturing innovation and contributed to driving regional growth as a New England-based Industrial DataOps leader.”

Inclusion on the 2026 Inc. Regionals Northeast list follows a strong year of momentum for HighByte driven by significant milestones that include:
